FASHION HOUSE DEVELOPMENT HAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED FASHION HOUSE OUTLET CENTRE MOSCOW
On 16th June in Moscow FASHION HOUSE Development, leading developer of outlet centres in CEE, made the official launch of their first Russian project, FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Moscow. The event took place in the exclusive Moscow restaurant Aist Café.Representatives of Russian and international brands such as Mango, Sportmaster, Marks & Spencer, Miss Sixty, Reserved, Rive Gouche, Fabi, Podium and JamilCo were present.
The main presentation of FASHION HOUSE Moscow, its design and concept was presented by Neil Thompson, Chief Commercial Officer, FASHION HOUSE Development. He explained the opportunities FASHION HOUSE Moscow has to offer and gave retailers detailed information about the project.
Neil explained: ‘As well as attracting European and International brands with an established Outlet Centre offer there are many brands in Russia who have excess stock but no Outlet offer as part of their retail strategy, so this provides an ideal opportunity for them to manage this stock and protect their brand. The few that do have an Outlet offer are spread out, so the attraction of nearly 200 Outlet stores under one roof is a first for the Russian market and is ideal for the retailers and consumers.’
The FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Moscow building is 38,580 sq m with 28,765 sq m of retail space; it will be home to 192 Outlet store units, foodcourts and cafes, 1,865 parking spaces and a children’s play area. The opening is planned for November 2011.
Many of the brands present at the launch event truly appreciated the potential of the project.
“We really liked the professional approach of FASHION HOUSE towards the development of Outlet Centres. We will consider FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centre Moscow for 2 our brands, Sportmaster and O’stin”, - comments Nikolay Uskiev, SPORTMASTER.
"For us the problem of stocks is not critical, as Mango Outlets are part of our business strategy, which are situated in Moscow and Ufa. Participation in FASHION HOUSE Moscow would allow us to diversify distribution channels. Mango outlets are present in existing Fashion House projects in CEE, that’s why FASHION HOUSE Moscow is an interesting project and in our opinion has very good perspectives” – comments Andrey Vinogradov, director of RAMO Company (brands Mango and Promod).
